Ingredients

Berry Smoothie with Collagen
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) Use a mixed bag for the signature pink color.
  • 0.5 cup frozen banana slices Frozen banana helps thicken without extra sweetener.
  • 0.75 cup unsweetened almond milk Add a splash if the smoothie is too thick to pour.
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt For creaminess and protein; use plain for best results.
  • 2 scoop unflavored collagen peptides About 20g total; blend until fully smooth.
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup Sweeten to taste; reduce if your berries are very sweet.
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract Adds warm flavor and rounds out berry tang.
  • 5 ice cubes ice cubes Use 4–5 for a thick texture with no ice chunks.

Equipment

  • 1 stand mixer

Method

Blend the base
  1. Pour the almond milk and Greek yogurt into the blender base first, then start the blender on low so they combine evenly.
  2. Layer in the flavor and thickness: add the frozen mixed berries and frozen banana slices on top of the liquids.
  3. Add the collagen and sweetener: sprinkle in the unflavored collagen peptides, then add honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  4. Add ice for a cold, thick texture by placing 4–5 ice cubes on top, then blend on high until the mixture starts to look uniformly pink.
  5. Blend on high for 45–60 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides once if needed, until the smoothie is completely smooth and thick with no ice chunks remaining.
  6. Check the consistency and adjust: if too thick to pour, add a splash more almond milk and blend for another 10 seconds; if too thin, add a few more ice cubes and blend again for about 10 seconds.
  7. Pour and serve immediately into a glass while cold and thick.

Notes

For the smoothest texture, keep all fruit and liquids cold and scrape the blender sides once during the main blend so collagen and berries fully disperse. Storage: drink right away for best thickness; if needed, refrigerate up to 24 hours and re-blend with a splash of almond milk. Freezing: not recommended for texture. Dietary swap: use dairy-free yogurt instead of Greek yogurt for a lactose-free version (thickness may vary slightly).
