Ingredients

Frozen peach slices
  • 4 cup frozen peach slices About 1.5 lb; use store-bought frozen or freeze fresh slices until solid.
Greek yogurt base
  • 0.75 cup plain Greek yogurt Whole milk or 2% for creamy texture.
Optional sweeteners and flavor
  • 1 tbsp honey Optional, to taste depending on peach sweetness (start with 1 tbsp and add more if needed).
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract Optional for a peach-vanilla aroma.
  • 1 salt A pinch to balance flavors.

Equipment

  • 1 food processor

Method

Prep the peaches
  1. If using fresh peaches, slice and freeze them on a parchment-lined tray for at least 4 hours or overnight until solid.
  2. If using frozen store-bought peaches, measure them straight from the bag without thawing.
Blend the nice cream base
  1. Add frozen peach slices, Greek yogurt, honey (if using), vanilla (if using), and a pinch of salt to a food processor.
  2. Process, stopping to scrape down the sides every 30 seconds, for 3–5 minutes total until thick, smooth, and soft-serve consistency forms.
Taste, adjust, and serve
  1. Taste the mixture and add more honey if the peaches aren’t very sweet, blending briefly until fully combined.
  2. Serve immediately by scooping or swirling into bowls for the best soft-serve texture, or transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze 1–2 hours for a firmer, scoopable texture.

Notes

Pro tip: for the smoothest texture, use peaches that are fully frozen and process long enough to eliminate icy bits; scrape the bowl every 30 seconds to keep the blend even. Store leftovers covered in the freezer up to 1 week; thaw 5–10 minutes before scooping. Freezer yes. Dietary swap: use dairy-free Greek yogurt (or thick coconut yogurt) to make it lactose-free while keeping the same method.
